Cookie policy

What cookies are, which categories i-Contabil uses, for what purpose, and how to manage or withdraw your consent.

Last updated: 13 July 2026

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how and why we use them on i-contabil.md, and how you can control your preferences. It complements our Privacy policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site work, remember your preferences and understand how it is used. We also use similar technologies, such as browser local storage (localStorage), which we treat the same way as cookies.

2. Why we use cookies

  • so the site works correctly and securely;
  • to remember your preferences (for example the light/dark theme and language);
  • to understand how the site is used and improve it.

3. The categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary — ensure the basic operation and security of the site. Without them the site cannot work properly, so they do not require consent.

  • Functional (preferences) — remember your choices, for example theme and language. For this the site uses the “ic-theme” local storage entry.
  • Analytics — help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used (for example via Google Analytics). Enabled only with your consent.
  • Marketing / third-party — may be used to measure or personalise content and ads. Enabled only with your consent.

4. Third-party cookies

Some features may set third-party cookies, managed by their providers under their own policies. For example, if we use Google Analytics, Google may set cookies for usage statistics. Advertising providers such as Google may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits; you can manage personalised ads in your Google account settings.

5. How long cookies last

  • Session — deleted automatically when you close the browser.
  • Persistent — remain for a set period or until you delete them manually.

6. How to manage or withdraw your consent

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies when asked, and change your choice at any time.

In addition, you can set your browser to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. You will find instructions in the help section of your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated.
