How i-Contabil collects, uses and protects your personal data — legal bases, your rights and contact details.

Last updated: 13 July 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the i-contabil.md website or our services, why and on what legal basis we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have.

We process data in accordance with Law No. 133/2011 on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679).

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is i-Contabil, an accounting firm based in the Republic of Moldova. For any data-protection question, contact us at:

  • Address: 5 Dimitrie Cantemir Blvd, MD-2001, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova
  • E-mail: office.icontabil@gmail.com
  • Phone: +373 69 509 049

2. What data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Identification and contact data: first and last name, company name, e-mail, phone — when you fill in a form, request a quote or contact us.
  • Business data: the information you share so we can estimate or deliver accounting services (e.g. legal form, field of activity, volume of operations).
  • Technical and browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and interactions on the site — collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communication content: the messages you send us via form, e-mail, WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram or the chat assistant.

3. Purposes and legal basis of processing

We use your data only for clear, justified purposes:

  • To respond to requests and send you quotes — based on pre-contractual steps at your request.
  • To provide the accounting services you contracted — based on performance of the contract and, where applicable, legal obligations.
  • To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, archiving) — based on legal obligation.
  • To improve the site and analyse how it is used — based on your consent (analytics cookies) or our legitimate interest.
  • To send you updates, if you have opted in — based on consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies to work correctly, remember your preferences (for example your chosen theme) and understand how it is used. Full details, categories and how to manage them are in our Cookie policy.

5. Who we disclose data to

We do not sell your data. We may share it only with:

  • Providers that help us run the site and the business (hosting, e-mail, messaging and analytics tools), which process data on our instructions.
  • Web-analytics providers (for example Google Analytics), which may use cookies under their own policies.
  • Public authorities, when the law requires it (for example tax authorities).

6. International transfers

Some of our providers (for example analytics or messaging services) may process data outside the Republic of Moldova or the European Economic Area. In such cases we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, in line with applicable data-protection law.

7. How long we keep data

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above: for the duration of the contractual relationship and afterwards for the period required by legal obligations (for example accounting and tax archiving terms). Contact data used for quotes is kept for a reasonable period, then deleted or anonymised.

8. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure — including restricted access, encrypted connections and careful selection of providers.

9. Your rights

In relation to your data you have the following rights:

  • the right of access to your data;
  • the right to rectification of inaccurate data;
  • the right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”);
  • the right to restriction of processing;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to object to processing;
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

10. How to exercise your rights and where to complain

You can exercise your rights by writing to office.icontabil@gmail.com. We will respond within the time limits set by law.

If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection (CNPDCP) of the Republic of Moldova. If GDPR applies to you, you may also contact the supervisory authority in your country.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated.

12. Contact

For any question about this policy or your data, write to office.icontabil@gmail.com or call +373 69 509 049.
